I was fortunate to attend the Crosby Stills Nash & Young concert at the Tweeter Center in Mansfield, MA. The night was full of magic, helped out by a nearly cloudless sky and balmy 78 degree temperature.
The show featured Neil Young's new album, Living With War. I had just bought the album the day before and I am convinced that it will be as much of a classic as any that Neil has ever done. In particular, his call to impeach George Bush resonated with the crowd of nearly 20,000 fans, who must have left the concert feeling like they could change the world. Beautiful girls dancing the siren song of love and peace helped to sway the crowd to the cause, along with the magical harmonies of the band.
The tickets I had cost me $250 each, a bargain in terms of what this concert will hold for me in the memory vault. I can't share more with you but let me say that this was one night full of peace love and understanding.
Sell the truck. Don't pay your rent. Mortgage your house. Make up with your ex. Whatever you have to do but buy tickets to this show. (Nothing illegal of course.)
