Pictures I have taken in the last few months. These include people I have met campaigning for Ralph Nader, my kids, my friends, people who have helped me for no reason... All photos are Copyright John Bescherer 2004

Roses that I brought from New York on the 8th. I had found that roses are quite cheap in New York and I was able to give away 6 dozen roses (one at a time) the day after the election at the Today Show set. People seemed so upset and I got a smile from everyone I talked with. I wanted to help make things a little better.
These particular roses ended up in my kitchen when a planned meeting did not occur the evening I returned from New York. I rather liked them.

The clouds were spectacularly ominous on this October Day. Still, the sun blasted through from time to time.

Randi is a coffee maven working in Connecticut. After she got through telling me about the fabulous quality assurance process and that their coffee was much better than Dunkin Donuts, she asked about my Nader pin.
After I answered her questions, guess who is going to work for Ralph Nader's election?

McSorleys Tavern should be one of your stops when you go to New York. It has been open for more than 150 years. They even let women in now.

You can't see it, but I found an amazing bargain at the Mission this morning. For only a couple of dollars, I made some amazing new friends.

These two gentlemen were very kind to me this morning. They offered me a light. (I quit for years but I've slipped a little recently.)

Quote from Guy Dufault after the first debate: "I don't think that we're going to see more than a 1 point bounce."

Two committed Kerry supporters... well at least they were committed after the first debate.... but they were very nice and were willing to talk about Nader.

Two pretty, friendly, smart girls who joined the Nader for President trivia team. They knew an amazing amount of trivia.

She was quite proud of her cookies and asked if I liked them. I said that I would buy both. She was a little sad to let them go but I assured her that I would find them a good home.

These mushrooms were displaying a lot more energy than was visible from the Nader campaign, or from the Kerry campaign, for that matter.
Boy has that changed in the last couple of weeks!
