I was amazed to read the article in the Wall Street Journal today about fledgling companies like Personalstrainer trying to help people with their personal ads. It seems that they charge anywhere from $20 to $60. I think that those prices are really bargains if you get one date with one person that is in the universe of people you could be happy with. I think that someone doing a good job is probably worth more like $250 but I understand how hard it is to get someone to pay something like that with no guarantees of success possible.
By the way, if anyone ever wants help, I would be willing to submit references.
I tried to think back over the women I have dated over the last several years. As I listed their names, I paused to reflect on each of them. Each of them were wonderful, giving, loving women with many talents and treasures to share. Any of you would be fortunate to know any of them.
Of the women I dated, I think that only a couple of them would have anything bad to say about me and I think that most of them would say good things about me. I have nothing but good things to say about them. They were all in search of the right person.
The worst thing that someone could realistically say is that I can be insensitive. My only defense is that I am never doing it deliberately and I just don't see how anyone can ever anticipate all the possible ways that what they say can be taken, so I offer it up with the caveat that it's not Gospel. It's just my opinion. I'm not a Doctor and have no legal advice to give you.
I hope that every one of the ladies I dated (and you) finds someone. (There I go again. I just mean that I hope that my girlfriend has already found the right guy and I hope that guy is me.)
So anyway, enough about me. But I think that I do know how to write and how to tell stories about what I do and like and I hope that you will find them to be useful.
